"There are no Cross Section Cell to process with regards to current settings."
He then changes only the color of the pattern lines and the cross sections generate OK.
What's strange also is he's NOT using color as part of the selection criteria.
Has anyone had this problem occur and is there anything that can prevent it?

I've experienced this before where I would change the color of few pattern lines to isolate them for a particular criteria run. When I switched back to my XS file GEOPAK did not find any pattern lines to process. The workaround is to close and reopen MicroStation. It should then recognize the new pattern line colors.
