Is it possible to "dumbdown" a *.dtm file created in InRoads V8-8.9 to InRoads version 8.05.02? When I try to open the newer version of the the file, I get an error message about version compatability.
Thanks
While we are on the subject of saving InRoads files to earlier versions, I was wondering if there is a variable that could be set to force InRoads to always save files to an older version. We are currently using V8i (InRoads 08.11.05.47) on a certain project, but out client and sub-consultants are still using 8.7, 8.8 or 8.9 compatible versions.
I would like to have InRoads always save these files to the earlier versions so that we never make the mistake of delivering .alg or .dtm files in a version that cannot be read by our client or sub-consultant. I understand that the saveas command will allow users to save down, but it would be nice if they didn't have to think about it every time an InRoads file gets saved.
