Display features in Inroads 08.08.02.16

When I display my features they always come on with 'level override on',
i.e. co=0, ls=0 and wt=0. My 'default' level has no overrides defined, so I
wonder what is causing that?
Is there a way to prevent this, a toggle? Something in the stylemanager?
