InRoads and BIM

Does anyone have experience collaborating with Revit and InRoads? The local guidelines for BIM are vague but they say the model should be kept up to date. Currently we use InRoads for pressure line locations (another program for comps). Maybe there is a better tool? The SS1 tools seem to be tying into each other and the data exchange is moving forward. This post in itself is vague but I am just fishing for comments regarding BIM for Architects and BIM for site and civil work. Thanks.
