InRoads: Components only created in some intervals in Roadway designer

I have a simple corridor, everything works fine with my simple template (no components, just a "thin" surface).

Then I change my template, and add a component (thickness of asfalt), go to Roadway designer, and syncronises with the template from the library. Everything still works fine, and when I review my design in the roadway designer, everythins is as it should be (see attached file).

But when I create the surface, and draw a cross section set, then the component is not created for the first part of my DTM. That is, the features are there, but the component is not created. I get wrong cut/fill volumens then.

WHY does the software do so, and WHAT can be done to fix it?

A restart does not help, and the same problem occurs in other corridors as well. I don't believe this is caused by me using the software in a wrong way, I simply cannot understand what I should have been done that could cause this problem.

  • The correct cross section apears to contain more (or all) features for the cross section. The incorrect cross section apears to contain only a few of the features contained in the component displayed in the correct cross section. When the cross section does not contain ALL of the features in a component, the component is not displayed. There is an outstanding CR to have components display even when some of the features of that component are not contained within the cross section.
