The seed file has annotation scale at 1:20. When viewing all the graphics everything looks good except the cells. The linestyles scale up and the text custom ops scale up. quasi workaround I am investigating. My named symbologiwa use a text style.

Display everything 1:1 in survey options. Select all elements and key in ANNOTATIONSCALE ON. Then change your annotation scale. This worked pretty well.

A couple things: Text scales but custom ops offsets are not honored. Since InRoads displays single lines of text, not a multiline node, you have to change them to multline nodes.

If the cell is not an annotation cell (like my tree cell), they do not resize.

I am still playing with this and it looks promising.

InRoads does not use the MicroStation annotation scale in its calculations. The only way to get a cell to scale is to use the cell Scale Factors in the File->Options Factors tab.

I would support the use of annotation scale in InRoads or alternatively if InRoads would allow you to specify if scaling was applied to a cell in the symbology settings (like Linestyles). I think that would be useful as sometimes the cells are for real world sizes, not a just a symbol on a page.

Does InRoads respect annotation scale in MicroStation for text, cells, and linestyles. When I display planimetrics the anno scale seems to work for text and linestyles but not cells.
