I encountered the following error while doing the copy parallel to generate the inside edge of roundabout.
Microstation V8i Selectseries1 - 08.11.07.180
Geopak V8i Selectseries1 - 08.11.07.227
Hi,
I didnt see anything to indicate which element was the one that could not be copied... so I just started looking at the project in general.
There was 3 elements in the Roadway Object.
The outer edge of the roundabout (which is an alignment) and then 2 arc elements inside the outer edge that may have been for a lane??
Anyway, those elements looked a little odd. Element information on one of those elements returned an odd result. And the Model didint appear to be merging as expected... so it seemed like something was a little off.
So I deleted both of those elements.
I then used the copy parallel on the outer circle at a 2% slope ... and the result looks good.
Without knowing exactly what you were trying to do - I had to "guess"...
I've attached the dataset - this seems to be OK now and ready to move forward.

I didnt see your "workflow" post before responding to your post that included the data... so these are a little out of order.
You workflow seems sound.
I'd suggest leaving a small gap in the outer circle... our co-ordinate geometry engine doesn't like a chain that is a 360 degree arc. Just leave a little gap in that circle - probably adjacent to the centerline of an incoming roadway would work well.
Try this, it may clear up some of the problems you are having.
