GEOPAK Site Analysis:Volume tool

I am having trouble verifying earthwork calculations using this tool and need a little help.  In particular, the output volumes appear to be the same irrespective of using Quantity Depth.  Here is the output from the .vol text file for both runs:

RUN1

*******************************************************************

** Total Cut = 24.204 Cubic Yards
** Total Fill = 15.155 Cubic Yards
** Area = 478.326 Sq Yards
** Balance = 9.049 Cubic Yards

** Used Quantity Depth
*******************************************************************
Total Cut Before Depth Adjustment = 24.204 Cubic Yards
Total Fill Before Depth Adjustment = 11.658 Cubic Yards
*******************************************************************

Increased Cut After Depth Adjustment = 0.000 Cubic Yards
Reduced Fill After Depth Adjustment = -0.000 Cubic Yards
Total Quantity Depth Volume = 0.000 Cubic Yards

  • Hi Aaron,

    the first report states:

Increased Cut After Depth Adjustment = 0.000 Cubic Yards
Reduced Fill After Depth Adjustment = -0.000 Cubic Yards
Total Quantity Depth Volume = 0.000 Cubic Yards

This would indicate that the Object you are analysing has not had the Quantity Depth set.

    Object>Edit>Quantity Depth.

Yep, I know that sounds obvious - but can you check that please?
