I am using Corridor modeler and am trying to build a template that ties down to existing ground at the inside edge of an existing sidewalk. This edge is drawn in a 2D file. What is the simplest way to have the template tie down to the front of sidewalk? I have tried storing the plan view graphics as an alignment, but I am wondering if there is an easier way to simply find the elements by symbology instead of having to define an alignment or set up point controls.
Thank you,

Josh,
As it stands today storing an alignment is your best bet. If it were a constant offset then you could just set a point control at a constant offset where no alignment would be needed. But I am assuming that the offset is not constant thus requiring an alignment. You can of course target a style within the template but this too would require an import of the graphics. Currently we do not have the ability to read plan graphics directly.
Thanks
