I am looking for a tool where we can check headroom/space between two surfaces - need these information for bridge guys. The best I found so far is a 'Resolve Crossing Segment' tool: 2-3 minutes and I can check and label number of the structures. The only problem I see is lack of export (custom style) options for those information. I am wondering if we can have XML report as standard here, please?

Use the Application Add-In Compare Surfaces. It produces an ASCII file. From the help: This command allows you to compare the elevations between two surfaces at a series of points. The output of this command is displayed in a Results dialog box and can be saved or printed.

Compare Surface was the first tool I tested today. Result window works only if we make and select COGO points; interactive is not what I am looking for - for both: I have no idea where is a minimum delta elevation point for selected surfaces. Resolve crossing segments works as I want, but need a better report. XML could solve all problems as we are able to costomize our output set - in this case MTQ project.
