Hi,
I´m using IR version 08.11.07.229 and MS version 08.11.07.171. I can´t start IR directly from the desktop, the following message shows after MS starts: "OS could not load C:\PROGRAM FILES\BENTLEY\INROADS GROUP V8.11\BIN\CivUstAT.dll, error 126.
MDL loader: Unable to load library <DLL or MDL shared library> CivUstAT."
However when I already have opened MS and choose Utilities->MDL application-> browse-> C:\PROGRAM FILES\BENTLEY\INROADS GROUP V8.11\BIN\CivUstAT.m IR starts normal.
Have I installed IR or MS wrong in some way? I havn´t changed anything from the "normal settings" in the installation.
InRoads must be started from the Start menu at least once after installation before the desktop shortcut will work.

Hello,
I removed and installed both MS and IR.
I get the same problem when I open it from the start menu (the same text window pops up). And it still works fine when I open it from Utilities=> MDL application.
Please help...
Karl,
You reference MSTN .171. Have you installed MSTN .180 on your machine? This is a requirement for InRoads Ss1.
Thomas
I have installed the files as shown below. The same text window still pops up when I start InRoads from the startmenu or the desktop. But InRoads works when I start it from MicroStation.
If you installed MicroStation to the default location, go to: C:\Program Files\Bentley\MicroStation V8i (SELECTseries 1)\MicroStation\config\appl. Otherwise, go to the equivalent installation path. Do you see an InRoadsAT.cfg?
Thanks,

If you installed in the order indicated InRoads was installed before MicroStation. Re-Run the install for InRoads and execute a repair. This will place the InRoadsAT.cfg file in the microstation config\appl directory. Short cuts and menus will then be functional.

There's no InRoadsAT.cfg located in the path mentioned. Although it could be found in the installation path for Inroads, i.e (C:\Program Files\Bentley\InRoads Group V8.11\data)
Hi Lisa,
Thank you, I am sure this will work. But I am trying to make a standard installation procedure for the entire company. So I don´t want to have to reinstall a program if possible.
Edit: We're trying to deploy Inroads / Microstation as a silent installation to our clients, using windows installer commands, i.e msiexec.exe.
Hope you understand our purpose...
