I had the same problem as well. If anyone is still experiencing this issue, here is the fix that worked for me. Note It was nothing to do with the .itl file.

1. Close down MStn & InRoads

2. Open .ird file in notepad

3. Change Linear Units="1" to "2" and save it.

4. Open back up project.

I'm not really sure why exactly this works, but I don't get the message anymore and everything seems to work/function as normal. Screen shot below.

I have recently been getting the same problem.

I have tried the below conversion through saving, however when I convert back to metric I get the meesage "Imperial units used while creating this library".

I too have checked both the template and IRD files and they both show metric units.

Any other suggestions on this?

after first step, of course lenghts are changed, but after second step they should change to original lenghts You have. In my case it helps and message stopped appear. I did the same with IRD file.

yes but converting messes up units (lenghts of verticals, horizontals). and every time creating new roadway, templates you never know if you get the same error msg again.

Hi,

I have managed with this problem in that way(do copy of Your ITL before):

step 1: Save as.. --> Options --> Convert Metric to Imperial and save Your ITL with this option

step 2: Save as.. --> Options --> Convert Imperial to Metric and save Your ITL with this option

For next savings set no convert.

after these operations problem disappeared.

Please check you IRD file. There is unit definition as well.

You can send me your XIN ITL and IRD file and I will test them on my PC.

still everything set to metric. imo this is some kind of IR glitch. i didnt have this before tho. (like 3 weeks ago with the same version)

your XIN is set right (Project Options). Please check units in your ITL (see attached screen).

screenshot of settings. as you can see all set to metric and still every time i save itl and ird i get this damn message.
how can this be xins fault? where could be this setting?

Sorry if this question is a little silly... But, what units is your drawing in?

I remember I got the message at first and then I changed my drawing's units. Unitless or 2 in AutoCAD, and Meters and Millimeters in Microstation.
