I apologize ahead of time for my poor description of what I am about to ask...
Is there a way in InRoads to take an exsisting DTM surface and create a template from it? We have a ditch running paralell to our road and are needing survey layout at 50' intervals with slope stakes. In the field the survey crews can use the Trimble data collectors to slope stake if we give them a road job. We have a finished grade ditch as provided by our design team. I would like to find a way to create the templates for a road job from this surface. The ditch is not a consistant width or heigth. Any help would be appriciated.
Cut a cross section where you want to make your template. Trace over it with a linestring and import the template from graphics.
