In earlier release of MX XM (first integrated with PowerDraft) there was an ability of using pure PowerDraft. I was using it while converting 3D DGN to 2D DWG. I have just exported from MX 3D DGN to 2D DGN, opened 2D DGN in PowerDraft, deatached XRefs and there saving to pure 2D DWG. There wasn't necessary to close MX project so it is in current version or maybe I don't know the way to "extract" pure PowerDraft from current MX (as another instance). Now, after export to 2D DGN I have to close MX project, then open 2D DGN in MX/PowerDraft, deatach XRefs, save to DWG, close DGN and re-open MX project. It is sometimes very annoying and dangerous to model.fil while it is very often.
