I am working in InRoads V8i, and I would like to get the volumes in my cross sections of several component shapes that I have displayed. The problem I am currently having though, is it will only display the volumes for components in the volume reports (XML) and not in the cross section graphics.
Any ideas on how to get this displayed in the cross section graphics?
It sounds like you are looking for the Tabulated Areas. Toggle on the tabulated area under the end-area volume annotation. HTH.
How do I get these into an XML Report?

I use the volumes.xsl style sheet. It will total by the style of the component, so I use different styles as needed to separate the totals of components.
I discovered that it is necessary to close and re-open the cross section dialog box to honor certain changes and updates to the cross sections, when running end area volumes. Apparently this has been reported.
Chris, do you know if this only applies to V8i?
I seem to recall that one of the first XM releases had the feature to calculate the components. I use 08.09.03.06 and I cannot seem to calc them.
