Can anyone help me understand why the 'Annotate Cross Section' tool wont show the Left Channel Offset Point if I apply an ‘Offset Tolerance’. It shows when I don't apply any offset but I 'need' to apply an offset.
see attached images for better explanation...
I saw a write up on using features for annotating slopes and how they added and removed features in a particular order to annotate certain slopes without annotating others. I believe it was part of Vt. AOT's InRoads guide.
Using features are the way to go to annotate with finite control.

Found solution...I'm using the Feature tab instead of the Points. This allows me to select only the features I want to show.
Thanks for replying.
I'm expecting the 'Offset Tolerance' to first pick the main features and then run the offset only on the minor features. E.g. Show the 'Bot of Kerb' & 'Top of Kerb' but then use the offset tolerance to work on the minor features.
Sorry, my explanation wasn't clear the first time.
I'm not sure what you are expecting the Offset Tolerance to do for you but the point that you feel should be annotated is closer than 0.1m as best I can tell from the figures. Offset Tolerance is meant to remove that point from being annotated.
From Help
Offset Tolerance
if checked, will not annotate points within the defined tolerance. This applies to points coming from the surface line or from the ASCII file.
