Annotate cross section slopes - v8i

(A previous post by others did not quite answer my question, so I'll post another)

I'm using InRoads v8i and would like to annotate cross slopes on my cross sections.  I only want to annotate my end conditions (6:1, 3:1, 4:1, etc)  Slope Tolerance and Maximum Width options don't seem to be enough to get what I need. Is there some whole other way I'm not seeing to annontate slopes besides from the menu EVALUATION > CROSS SECTION > ANNOTATE CROSS SECTION ?

    To control cross section slope annotation and restrict the annotation to specific segments, you need to display crossing features and then annotate segments based upon the crossing features.

    VTAOT (US State of Vermont, Agency of Transportation) has a InRoads PDF that describes the steps.

    • Update your sections to display crossing features. (Make sure your feature styles allow crossing point display and annotation. Also make sure there is either a default point display style defined or a cross section point. You can make them display to a non-plotting level so you can leave them displayed.)
    • To annotate only certain segments will require multiple runs of the command, as you will need to select specific features to annotate the segment between them and then select other features and repeat the process.
