When editing chains in Geopak Survey, the old geometry in the CAD file remains in the drawing, AND the revised chain is drawn in. This forces the user to manually delete the old chain in the drawing after making edits. This used to happen automatically in previous versions. Is there a setting or preference that I am missing somewhere??

No, nothing should have changed. Are you seeing this on all projects or just one? My guess would be that this is data related.
