When I generate a Drainage Profile, I see that Library items from my DOT show up with the appropriate width and invert drop across the structure. The nodes that I create myself, however, show up as straight lines with no elevation drop. I've looked all over and through as much of the documentation as I can - where does one specify these parameters?

I'd suggest the difference could be the use of "pipe connection points" within the DOT cells.
Go to the Drainage Help and search for "node cells". There is an outline of the differnt types of points that can be added to the node cells to control different parameters.
