Hi,
I was wondering if anyone had a good guide on the rules area of the template?
We are having a bit of trouble with multipul rules for components.
Any help would be mush appreciated. Thanks,

Thanks for that Caddcop. I think I may need to be more specific to the problem we have had recently, and work from there.
So, on our template we have two shapes of Granular B that we want to come on at different times, but also, we want them both to go off in some occasions. Our rules are set that the 1st shape comes on by a null point, then the 2nd shape is set to be off by component, so is off when the 1st is on and vice versa. But, how do you now set a second rule to tell them both to be off? Perhaps to be able to switch via null point would be nice...
Our main problem is that we can't find some good information on rules and tips on how best to build them.
Create one rule >0 that turns A on, create another rule <0 that turns B on. So if the rules are zero nothing is on. Then you can use a point control on the null point and shift it left and right of centerline. Right>0, Left<0. Kind of vague but the idea is there.
Your idea of using a nul point is a good idea. If nul point = 0 then everything is off. If nul point =1 component A is on. If nul point = 2 component B is on etc. One nul point for each side, positive value on the right side and with negative value on the left side.
