It maybe simple, but since I am new to InRoads, I would appreciate your help....
Please see the screen shot below, the road components are not shown on the cross sections. I have tested using different templates, sometimes the components are shown on the cross sections, sometimes are not. All the components defined in the templates are closed shapes. What am I missing?
When using End-Area Volume to calculate the volumes, what XML report template should be use so that we can have the volume for each component?
What styles are you assigning the components - there are separate setting for display in 3d Plan, Profiles and Cross Sections. If you assign a style that is defined to not display in cross section, they will not display.

Thanks caddcop. Checked the styles, the it was the cause of the problem.
This can be used to ones advantage. We have styles for components that are surface only and other styles for components that represented some volumetric element - thickness. by setting the surface items as display only in 3D plan and the volumetric components to only display in cross section or profile, we could prevent users from displaying components incorrectly.
It did require some dual components but it made for quick 3D renderings.
