Recently upgraded to series 2. When creating surfaces in the Roadway Designer in SELECT series 1 the created features would have the corridor name prefixed to the name such as "Highway-EP_L".
This may be a (seem like a) workaround, but it also gives us full flexability to have prefixed feature names or not. I can imagine that there were request to not have prefix names on features when creating single surface models from the Roadway Designer. Now we have both it you want the prefixed add a dummy surface if you do not want prefixes do not include the dummy surface.

Re: Corridor Feature names

I believe it is described in the "What's new or changed" document that is delivered with the product.

Re: Corridor Feature names

Your reply is the way I have been using the Create Surface tool. After experimenting with it, I am only able to get the corridor prefix on the feature name when more than one corridor is selected for modeling. I would prefer the prefix always, or at least to choose when to append the name.
