Is there a way to filter the component display list in the update cross section tool. I tried using the feature selection filter but the componenets in the list were not filtered.

I see no InRoads method for filtering Components. Typically good component Naming conventions can group the components well in the list and can be sorted by Name or Style or Description. In order to make sorting work to its full benefit you should take the extra time to Name, Style, and Describe each component. Filters also require good Name, Style and or Descriptions to work well.
