I think this has something to do with the path to the drgmsg.txt file not being correct but I am not sure how to fix the problem. I usually edit one of the profiles (profile edit list, pick one) and set the To node the same as the from node. This causes the program to freak out and crash. I let it crash, re-open everything and can continue working. the message center thing should pop open displaying whatever errors come up.  make sure you save just before you intentionally make it crash. &lt;p&gt;Its trying to create/open the drain message file but it is likely on a folder/server that is write-protected. &amp;nbsp;By default it writes this file to the same location as your DGN/GDF file. &amp;nbsp;It can also write to the &amp;quot;docs &amp;amp; settings&amp;quot; folders. &amp;nbsp;There is also a config variable that lets you write it to another location. &amp;nbsp;Check those three perhaps and let us know if that helps?&lt;/p&gt;
