Does anyone have a definitive guide to using the MX roundabout tool. I created some templates in an older version of MX and now they don't work. Also there used to be a button for converting the CAD lines to MX lines within the Roundabout tool and I don't believe it's there in this version (V8i SS2). Would be grateful for any assistance.
Cheers
Gazzaa.
Thanks Robert I'll try it out.
Try the U.S. libraries included in the install. These are right hand drive, UK style roundabouts.
if those don't work then you can make a UK style from scratch:
In the tools menu go to roundabouts and place a default UK style. (Tools > Roundabouts > Default > UK Style)
In the dialog be sure to choose right hand drive.
Click anywhere in the view to place a default UK style RAB.
Then you can edit the variables and save off for reuse in your projects.
Once you get the right hand drive version prepared then Jason's guide should still be applicable.

Thanks Jason, however, there's one issue it doesn't work for any other template examples only the UK templates. I'm designing in the Middle East so I need the same UK template but for right hand drive. Could you advise how I should go about creating this template or could you provide?
Hi Gazzaa
Attached is a document which guides on how to link an mx model to the roundabout tool. The mx model updates on the fly as you use the tool. I'm not sure if your old templates are compatible with this version. I'll have to do a check on that for you. Which version of MX were they created in?

Jason
