(Sorry if this question has been posted before)
I have a Tin file created with Geopak. I need to convert it into a DTM surface in order to use InRoads.
Is there a way to use the triangles to extract them into a dtm surface , and if so, how can this be done?
I currently use InRoads V8.8 , but I do have access to InRoads v8i - in case there is a direct translation.
Thanks for any help.
p.s.: I am dealing with a huge Tin file as it is for a big interchange. Creating my own dtm file from existing contours is not an easy task, and too much time consuming.
InRoads V8i can directly read a GEOPAK DTM - it might not be in the initial release of V8i, but in one of the SelectSeries updates.

Caddcop,
You are correct.
InRoads (SELECTseries 1) gave the ability to open a tin file directly. Which can be done at:
File> Open> GEOPAK Surfaces (*.tin) was added to open GEOPAK tin files without having to translate. Just make sure you change the file type to *.tin so the filter exposes them.
