I am having an issue seeing the input files (.inp) generated by Geopak. Specifically I am trying to load a clients input file that was provided to me, however, I am finding that I cannot see the backup input files generated by Geopak or the ones I wish to load. I assume this is either a simple setting or I am missing something. I am wondering if this is a configuration varaible issue.....pointing to the wrong location.
The process I took to load the input file was: COGO >> File >> Input FIle Utility
I placed the input files in the project dgn directory, which was the .gpk file location and creation point of generated input files.
Any ideas would be appreciated, James
James,
when you load an input file with the input file utility, geopak looks for a file containing the job number and the operator code you opened cogo with. you can rename the file to match this.
ie test101.inr is a file named test for gpk job 101 and operator code nr. also, the file needs to be in the working or input file directory set in the preferences.
another option is to open the cogo editor and paste the contents of the file (opened in windows).
