Hey all,
Let me start by saying that I know Microstation does not have viewports. Also I have created sheets by clipping my references and moving my border around it. My issue is multiple viewports or clippings for the same sheet.
Here's my situation: I need to create a temporary traffic signal plan to accompany a traffic control plan. Each sheet will show 2 of the phases.
Similar to different views, I need the same reference file with different layers turned on/off. I'd like to not have to reference my main drawing twice, as I'd imagine it would slow down my computer greatly. Is there anyway around referencing my drawing twice?
Additionally, our design is only around 60% complete so creating multiple files could become a pain when the file is updated.

Referencing the same drawing in multiple places will not significantly slow things down. We do it all the time.
