Custom Operations InRoads Survey Edit Window crazy Issue

Hi,

I have some survey features with some more lines of custom operations.
In some crazy cases I can not add more lines to the edit windows as then the cursor suddently jumps to another line
and deletes parts of my custom operations.

I have : win xp SP3 with all windows updates, IE 8 with all updates, MS ss2 .446 (german) IR SS2 .494(german)

I already had a Service Ticket, but bentely could not help me, because support has a windows issue in mind. And indeed it depends on
some win xp workstations, but not all!

So what part of windows, IE, NET, DHTML may force this behaviour? Any help or hint  is appreciated!

  • For me it is still a Windows issue, because some of my other colleagues with other PC's and windows user profiles may edit huge Customs Operations with no issues (all are on XP SP3, IE 8).

    But what part of Windows?

  • Is this ever going to be fixed?

It seems to me that once you reach a certain number of custom operations, the editor goes haywire. And worse, if you open a feature and look at the codes, it sometimes thinks you have made an edit and it offers to save the edit, all screwed up. If you don't realize what it is asking, you might just allow it.

  • I am having the same issue and have had this issue through many versions of inroads.  I have even gone into the XIN and edited the XML manually in order to try to make it work.  But once you go back to the style in the GUI it will mess up the XML again.  It seems to be an application error and I am surprised there is not more posts about this.  I am running windows 7 Micro station and  Inroads Select Series 2  and have seen this on all of our computers.

    Thanks
