I have been using Microstation and GEOPAK Road for a year now so I am pretty new at it. My company has given me the responsibility to solve one of our major problems with proposed cross sections. I have been trying to figure it out, but the furthest I gotten to point out the problem is that GEOPAK Proposed Cross section typicals cannot access the criteria file even though the file exists at that location. Our problem is basically we can not run proposed files at all. The typical templates provided by our DOT is unaccessible because of this problem. I really need some direction on this. Please reply if you have any suggestions.
The error message reads:
Unable to open Control File:G:\Worspacev8i\System\Geofiles\Criteria_E\...
This error shows when I click on Typicals in the Shape Clusters tab under Proposed Cross Sections.
Our workspace is set up different thatn of the DOT that provides the files and we can not change it since it will mess up all the other projects. Hope someone can give me some direction.

More than likely the following variable is set incorrectly: GPK_TYPICAL. This variable points to the location of the files needed to run the Typical Section Generator. If this variable is pointing to a location that does not exist or the "criteria.ctl" file does not exist at that location, that would result in this error.

Yes, it was the workspace configuration address. There was three of the same address and I shortened the path and it worked. Now I am dealing with other problems. I hope I can figure those out soon. Thank you for your reply and help.
