I'm trying to have inroads add in relative elevation differences between grade changes (highway lanes/feature lines). I am able to have inroads produce relative elevations (first picture), but I cannot figure out how to produce elevation differences (second picture).
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
You will most likely need to generate a isopach surface. This is a DTM that will represent the elevation difference between two selected surface models. The elevation of the surface can be displayed in cross section and should actually be the mathematical difference you are looking for.
