Civil geometry reverse curve spirals

HI,

I have recently started using MX V8i SS2's civil geometry tools for my horizontal setout.

One thing I am trying to do is to create reverse curve spirals. This is quite simple to achieve using MX's standard alignment tools, but I cannot seem to get it working in the Civil Geometry tools. 

Is it actually possible to do this?

Still on CG Tools, is it possible to insert new elements into an existing complex alignment (i.e lines and arcs) without breaking the associativity of strings hanging off the main alignment?
