AccuDraw and AccuSnap interfering with some commands

We are finding that enablement of AccuDraw and AccuSnap (especially the Identify elements automatically setting) is interefering with the operation of some InRoads commands - notably the Tracking commands and View Geometry, but other commands may be affected.  We haven't seen this until very recently.  Until recently, we were working in files whose global origin was set to the lower left of the XY design plane and centered on the Z axis.  Now, due to new drafting standards, we are working in design files with global origins set to  center of the design cube.  It appears to be a combination of Accu* and the centered global origin that is causing the problem.  This problem is occurring across multiple MicroStation versions (V8, XM) and InRoads versions (V8.5, V8.8, XM).  Disabling Accu* and the Identify elements automatically setting corrects the problem.
