I am trying to create a volumes report using end area volumes. When I use Component Quantities from the RoadWay Designer, I can get all components quantities, but when I using End_Area_Volumes from the Cross Sections and used the Volumes as style sheet, I only got the cut and fill volumes. Please refer to the screen shot below.
Please note I have checked all the components have the correct style and all the styles are available at the preference file. Why the component volumes are not shown on the volumes report? Thank you in advance for your help.
Click the report button on the Component Quantities dialog box - do the volumes show then?
For them to appear in a cross section report, the component areas must be displayed in the cross sections and when you run the report. you may need to annotate them - I always do as a check since I have seen some areas drawn with overlapping shapes and the areas allowed me to confirm if the overlapping areas were in the report.

Thank you caddcop. The volumes do show when I click the Report button on the Component Quantities.
I tried to display the component areas on the cross sections, but no luck. Please see the screen shot below, do I miss something?
Are your components closed shapes?
the components are all closed shapes. I used the same template for other roads, I got the quantities as it supposed to be.
Have you been working with the same surface in the same set of cross sections?
Sometimes, you can end up with a new surface with the same name but to InRoads, it is not he same. So if you refreshed the cross section surface but left the old components, InRoads will ignore the components since to it, they are from a different surface.
An easy way to test is to attempt to refresh the cross sections. If InRoads doesnot seem to see the surface or the components, it means the dtm is not the same one that created the graphics.
