What is the MDC classification in end-area volume for InRoads V8i SS2 used for, how does it function and how is it used?
AFAIK, MDC stands for Moisture Density Control.
In EA volumes you can classify material as MDC to mark and report that this type of excavation is necessary because there is an unsuitable material in existing ground. This material must be removed and replaced not because it is a cut but rather that it can not be a foundation for the road (it might not drain well or may be difficult to compact).
I hope that helps.

Thanks Adam - I did finally find it in the Knowledge Base as Moisture Density Control. I'm planning on using it to remove milling from the Normal Cut volumes in my End-area Volume reports.
