PLS HELP ANYTIME I CREATE MY DESIGN SURFACE FROM THE ROADWAY DESIGNER I DON'T SEE THE END CONDITION COMPONENT

Hello guys pls can anyone help me with this, am working on a road design, i just finished creating my superelevatio, and everything was fine, but when i tried to create the design surface for my proposed road, the process was successfull but when i observe the new surface, i noticed my end condition components were not part of the completed surface, am kind of confused, don't know what to do. pls can anyone help me with this. thanks

  • Can you verify inside the Roadway Designer you have the ‘Active Surface’ as your existing surface & it has the ‘Lock’ enabled next to it.  I’m not sure what version you have, but then create your new surface to see if that helps.    

  • Am using inroads ss2, yes my active surface is my existing ground surface and the lock is next to it, but the lock is open, does closing or opening this lock have anything to do with what am experiencing.

  • yes i tried it with the padlock closed, and it worked, i can now see my end condition component in the newly created surface. Yes pls one last thing peter, anytime i load my roadway designer .ird file it tells me: "imperial units used while creating this library"  but i  used metric units for all the design. thanks
