Running InRoads V8i - When running the PGL along either edge of a single lane ramp, what is the best method for creating superelevation? The wizard requires three points and to specify two or four lanes. If I simply create control lines for the left and right range points, is there a limitation as far as slope or which points I select?
What I have been doing is creating single control lines for the left and right with respect to the PGL and input my math-out super. Then once the lines are set I create the succeeding points by using the create single and copy the values. Once that is completed I set the point controls for each line using the vertical and selecting the superelevation. I select the correct values with the reference point. Sounds like a alot of work, But a ramp generally will only have 1 or 2 curves.
