Easy way to plot X-Section low points on profile in GEOPAK?

Try using the Profile Grade Report tool, it was developed for just this type of thing.

That tool works pretty well, until the proposed foreslope ties into the existing ground at a higher location than the bottom of the existing ditch.

This might be clunky but couldn't you place a water drop trail which will follow the low point of the ditch and create a chain from the trail then profile it and project it onto your road profile?

That's a hell of an idea.  I'll have to try it.

In order to get the low points of both existing and proposed ditches, I'll have to merge the DTMs first.
