I can't seem to get proposed cross section elements to draw on my existing ground cross sections. I run the process and it works through the cross sections but draws nothing. Any solutions? A colleague in another office was able to do it, so I am assuming I have a setup problem.
Check out the following wiki article and see if any of the troubleshooting techniques help.

Beebe: Your article you linked is helpul for another issue I've had in the past but doesn't address the issue I'm currently having and what I believe jthdr was talking about. The existing ground XS run perfectly fine with the existing tin. They are produced as expected. However when I do the same process with the proposed dtm instead, geopak processes through the XS as expected but no proposed elements actually show up. If I use the proposed tin instead of dtm the proposed linework shows up. Unfortunately nothing shows up for the dtm. I've had no luck finding a solution. Thank you!
Chuck,
I am having the same issue. Launched Draw Cross Sections from Surfaces as suggested and still no change.
Hmmm, would need to see the data to investigate further. Have you logged a ticket? We will need to likely setup a meeting to look at the problem in your environment. Usually when this happens, it can't find the DTM for some reason when it proceeds to cut the sections.
Just an update on this. The user was trying to cut cross sections along an alignment that was different then what the Corridor was created along within Roadway Designer. It is okay to do that, but you are required to import that new alignment within Corridor Modeler first.
yeah, this helped. I can't wait for the handful of geopak ss2 projects to finally be completed! I hadn't realized that the rddbs folder (and the alg within) is required to cut geopak sections displaying the dtm (with components). Most of the time the people who create the model within corridor modeler also cut the sections. But we had someone who wasn't modeling and was using the create cross section tool that isn't in corridor modeler. And he wasn't pointing to the rddbs folder--so consequently his dtm surfaces wouldn't display.
Hello, I am also trying to cut cross sections along a different alignment than what the corridor was modeled against. What is meant by import the new alignment into the corridor modeler?
What version of Bentley are you using? Many changes have been made to various versions since these comments. I assume you're from a state still using inroads or some form of SS2. If my memory is correct, both alignment chains need to be added into the modeling dgn file. This helps the process link the correct alignment that was used to generate the DTM. For SS2 Geopak, the "Geometry" tab to the left in the Corridor Modeling dialog will show the ability to add chains and profiles to the design environment. Inroads should have a similar functionality.
