For those of you getting started, I wanted to take a moment to point out we have delivered a sample workspace to help you get started. Select the user entitled "Examples". Then for the Project select Bentley-Civil-Imperial or Bentley-Civil-Metric. Finally, select the Interface Bentley-Civil.
I will be hosting a presentation on this workspace at the Bentley LEARNing Conference this May for those interested. Having a robust workspace for this new major release is vital to successful deployment.

How easy is it to convert a Civil Cell DGNLIB from the sample workspace to match a client workspace?
I am assuming that this would include:
Please feel free to add more to the list.
Some explanation of the steps necessary would be helpful.

While there is NO replacement for live instruction, Bentleys learning content is gaining traction with SS3 videos..
Also a quick search on YOuTube may reveal some good material... IE the link below shows how to create a basic T cell
There were also other SS3 relavent videos at this users channel.
Anyone can feel free to contact me concerning these cells or migrating standards to SS3, I will answer as time permits.

Thanks for posting the video Mike. It was well explained and easy to follow. The volume was a bit low though.
I didn't understand the reason for creating the offset element from the edge of pavement, but perhaps that would become apparent when using the cell.

The seam is needed for triangulation ... IE in site modeler a seam was allways used for this purpose. There is another command that could also be used (Break by element).
This however introduces more complexity into the mix as the section of pvmt edge then needs a new feature to be added. In my opinion it adds complexity , maybe other users would be ok with it.. I like to keep it simple. :-)
