What’s a straightforward approach to designing ADA ramps in InRoads? Before you can say “Civil Cells in SS3”, note that our organization won’t be migrating to that platform for a while. So, with InRoads V8i SS2, I’m looking for a portable, repeatable and customizable work flow for developing ADA templates. Any ideas? TIA!
One method is to create a horizontal alignment for the shape of the ramp and use it as a horizontal point control for the back of kerb. The template can be setup to contain constraints for the top face of kerb to lower as the back of kerb moves with the point control.
