Draw Cross Section from Surface - Missing Lines

Not a good day for me and Roadway Designer...

I created a model from Corridor Modeler and created a DTM from it. When I use the "Draw Cross Sections from Surface" tool, for some reason it doesn't draw a certain line. This line happens to be the back slope after a paved side ditch. The odd thing is that point label is drawn where that line would connect to the existing ground, but it just isn't drawing the line. The back slope line is drawn on the section before and after without any issues and the station is a nice even station.

Any ideas what is happening with this? I have had a similar issue on a much longer job several months ago, but I just worked around it due to time constraints. That was with an older version of Windows, MS, and GPK.

My current versions are as follows:  MS - v8.11.09.397, Geopak - v8.11.07.536, Windows 7 SP1

Thanks.

  • Okay, thanks for looking at it. I also thought it might have something to do with the clipping, but I'm not sure how to fix that. I've tried changing clipping options to all the different options (All, None, End conditions only) and it doesn't change how the sections look when I cut them from the DTM. I'm also curious as to why I see the full sections when I cut them off the mainline, but not when I cut them along the sideroads? I know the existing tin file is a large file, but I've never had any issues cutting existing ground. I'll continue to troubleshoot and try and figure out what's wrong.
