We are starting a new project and would like to use GEOPAK SS3 V081109493 because of the ProjectWise Integration with the .GPK file. We will need to deliver all data to our Client who is using SS2 and state that SS2 is to be used. Is SS3 and SS2 completely compatitble and If we do the project in SS3 and deliver all of the data will our Client have any issues with these deliverables.
Thank you,
Bob Hanson

GEOPAK SS3 is backwards compatible with GEOPAK SS2. Please keep in mind that the latest GEOPAK SS2 version 08.11.07.615 has the ProjectWise GPK integration. There are a couple of defects in the legacy GEOPAK SS3 that affect existing xs and existing profiles. You may want to wait until the next release of SS3.

Bob,
allow me to clarify. The gpk file and other databases are (ie. smd), but if you use the OpenRoads technology, you cannot go back to SS2. If you are planning on only using the legacy tools in Geopak, i would advise to stay in ss2 for now.
