Services 3d model

Question

HI All, 
 
 I am not sure if this is the right forum to ask this question. I need to build a 3d model which includes all services,tunnels and roads for clash detection,calculating quantities and if possible construction scheduling. Most of it are in 2d design and as built drawings. I am thinking of creating MX 3d strings and attaching templates using open roads, is it possible? I saw a presentation about SUDA, is it available and is this the right path for me to take or is there a established workflow.

With MicroStation, you have the ability to create a 3D model when working in a 2D Design file, so you can get a working 3D model to display terrains and components from a template using the OpenRoads Corridor Modeling commands. There is a good section of material on the OpenRoads tools under the Road and Site Design Wiki.

 The terrains and components are mesh elements in the design file so they can be utilized for computing volumes through the OpenRoads commands as well as performing clash detection between elements. 
 SUDA is not yet available for download.
