We are using MS V8i and Power InRoads SS3.
We selected "Missed Named Symbologies.xsl" for a report of an old XIN file from SS2 release and wondered if the "Missed Named Symbologies" meant ones not used in a style or preference?
The "MissingNamedSymbologies.xsl" report displays Named Symbologies that are specified in a particular Style, but do not exist as a Named Symbology.
For example, you might have a Style named "SEC". In SEC, you may have assigned a named symbology called "Football". Now, if you go into the Named Symbology Manager and delete Football, Football will then be listed in the MissingNamedSymbologies.xsl. Again, this is because Football is called out in a style, but is not present in the Named Symbology Manager.
