With ponding width left and right. my result indicates total ponding width ne
arly twice of left and right ponding width. how to understand these three width. thanks
The Total Ponded Width reported for Sag Inlets is the computed head at the inlet projected across the spread section. The ponded width left and right is the computed head at the inlet projected across the left slope andright slope which the user inputs into the Spread Section portion of the Node Configuration dialog. So in this case the left and right slopes approaching the inlet must have a steeper slope than the cross slope of the roadway.
