I need to add a curve to my profile between stations 21+40 and 22+20. I created this profile with the Profile Complex By VPI.

Re: SS3 Adding curves to profile

The Wiki How to add a Curve to a Complex by VPI Vertical Profile details the process to add curves to the profile.

You set the curve to a small value and when you have laid out the full length of the profile you can update the curve value to what you require at the different locations.

Re: SS3 Adding curves to profile

Hi Patrick,

Are you getting an error message? Since the lines are already complexed, are you pressing <Alt> before you start picking them with the Parabola Between Elements command? You don't have to hold it in, just press it and then it lets you pick the separate elements and enter a curve length. Note: In general, I find it easier to use Line Between Points to place the lines if I'm adding Curves 'after the fact' like this, then Complex them. I use Complex by PI if I'm adding the curves as I go.
