When opening an ALG through ProjectWise, the ALG is read-only. The only caveat is that the COGO Buffer is an all or nothing access. If one user had it checked out, others cannot perform any commands that need to be able to add or modify the COGO Buffer. This includes Event Points, I believe.

RE: ALG File Opens in Read-Only through ProjectWise

How?

Ref: Jason Littleton: Does this functionality allow ProjectWise users to simultaneously work on different alignments in the same geometry file (say User 1 works on Alignment 1 while User 2 works on Alignment 2 if both alignments are in the same geometry file)?

Re: ALG File Opens in Read-Only through ProjectWise

Yes, it does.

Re: ALG File Opens in Read-Only through ProjectWise

Does this functionality allow ProjectWise users to simultaneously work on different alignments in the same geometry file (say User 1 works on Alignment 1 while User 2 works on Alignment 2 if both alignments are in the same geometry file)?

Re: ALG File Opens in Read-Only through ProjectWise

First, check to make sure the ALG has not been locked by another user. Please refer to the following instructions:
