I have a drawing with a plan on the top, a match line and continuing with a plan on the bottom. The top plan containing a horizontal alignment, has reference files attached in the correct coordinate system. The continuing bottom plan's reference files of course, has been moved ant rotated. I created an auxiliary coordinate system to be aligned with the reference file. I need to use InRoad's Station/Offset command to label some items on the bottom plan, but it's giving me stations and offsets from the alignment on the top plan. Is there a way for InRoad's to do the labeling using the horizontal alignment depicted in the bottom reference file. I cannot add anything on the reference file itself.
Thanks,
-Brenda
I do not believe that would be possible. Since you are unable to annotate directly on your reference file, I suggest you reference the bottom alignment into another file, display your annotations and then move/rotate as needed. You can then reference this new file into your sheet file and it will already have your annotations.
