Currently I’m experiencing difficulties when editingalignment cogo points. Is there a way to make these points to be editable?
If a point is not able to be edited then it may be part of a curve. If the point is in a curve then you can only edit the description. If you change the properties of a point (i.e. - northing, easting, elevation, etc.) that is associated with a curve then you change the curve itself. If you want to edit the point, remove the point from the alignment containing the curve, make your edits and then insert the point back in the alignment.
To edit cogo point alignment description, go to Geometry>Cogo Points>Edit/Review Extended Descriptions.
When the traditional "Edit Cogo Point" tool is used, the edited alignment point will be removed automatically.

The only way I was ever able to "edit" an alignment COGO point was using the lot layout tools. And as I recall, the conditions had to be just right. I think the thoughts behind alignment COGO points was that these COGO points were located using COGO and once assigned to an alignment, used the coordinates of those points. But if you edit the alignment such that the alignment no longer lines up with the points, they are discarded as alignment points.
The alternative is to convert alignment points to COGO points, edit the COGO points and redefine the alignment using the points.

Adam checked on that and the alg does have read-write access.
Ensure that you have a read-write access to your alg file.
